Mrs. JoAnn Hiday, 83, of Seymour, passed away October 30, 2014 at Seymour Crossing.

She was born in Seymour, June 3, 1931, to the late Fred Rueter and Edith (Schmidt) Weihe.

JoAnn was a member of Central Christian Church for 52 years. She enjoyed caring for the elderly and children, and was a member of the VFW Auxiliary.

She will be missed by her daughter; Linda (Russell) Ritchie, grandchildren; Stacey (Keith) Johnston, Bryan (Cheryl) Ritchie, Jennifer (Hector) Laiz and Rebecca (Alex) Tepetate; 12 great grandchildren; and brother: Wayne Weihe.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband Marvin Waggoner, husband John Hiday and son; Glenn Frederick Waggoner.

A service honoring JoAnn will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday November 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM with Rev. Lewis Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Visitation will be held at Voss Chapel on Monday November 3, 2014 after 11:00 pm until the time of service.

Memorials may be written to the Schneck Hospice.
