Mr. John Albert Ball, 51, of Louisville, passed away on Friday, October 5, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Seymour on February 4, 1967 to Albert Ball and Linda (Graham) Mifflin.
Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, October 12 at 1 pm with Rev. Tom Woodson officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1925, American Legion Post 89, Disabled Veterans 47, Korean and Vietnam Veterans, all of Seymour.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 10 am until time of service.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Navy. He was a member of Masonic Lodge F&AM 146 and had previously been a volunteer firefighter for Jackson and Washington fire departments. He enjoyed talking to other people as he never met a stranger. He also enjoyed doing unexpected nice things for other people and never asked for recognition. He especially loved spending time with his family, kids and grandkids.
He is survived by his father and stepmother, Albert (Beverly Ann) Ball; mother and stepfather, Linda (James) Mifflin; children, Jacob Ball, Jared Ball and Ashley Ramirez; grandchildren, Noah Ramirez, Ezra Ramirez, Samuel Ramirez, Stella Ball and Piper Ball; brothers, Andy Ball and Brad Ball; sister, Jessica Heckman; and several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be written to Voss & Sons Funeral Service to help with funeral expenses.

Lit a candle in memory of John Ball

I have thought alot about you the last few days , basically our High School Days...and what good memories they are....I loved our occasional fb messages and smile when I think of you ...May u rest in peace and keep on dancing on those gold streets my friend. May God comfort your loved ones as well.
