I knew John from school. He was the older brother to my friend and classmate Barry Crane. We shared the same love for playing drums as I did. We would always tease each about who was better. We would always leave the conversation with him conceding. But I knew we both enjoyed the drums. And he took it futher than I did. So I now concede. We moved 85 miles away from Seymour, but we always keep him as our insurance agent. He even made some long trip to handle our insurance problems. Not many people would have done that. John was like a brother to my wife Cynthia and I. I know I will miss that contagious belly laugh. To Barry, Margie, and Larry, you have been thru alot these past few years, and you have been in my thoughts all week since I got the text from Jackie telling me he had only weeks. We only got 1 week. I hope you find comfort and peace with lossing the family members so close together. And Jackie, I couldn't imagine losing the love of your life. To the whole Crane family, it is with great love and friendship I want to say John will be missed physically, but he live on in our hearts from all the memories we have. I loved and respected John. Bye my friend. Good bye.

John used to visit our home frequently when he was in high school. My daughter and him went to school together. He always had a smile. Every time he visited he would ask "how are you doing Mom". That I will always remember. He was such a good person. My condolences to John's family and may you find comfort in knowing he is in Heaven. Susie Saunders
