Jonathan William Patrick McGrew, 33, passed away July 23, 2022, after a long battle with melanoma. He was a lifelong resident of Seymour.
He was born May 8, 1989, in Seymour to Michael and Jill (Ruddick) McGrew. Survivors include his parents Michael and Jill McGrew of Seymour; half-brother Steve McGrew; and his maternal grandparents, William and Verda Ruddick.
Jonathan was a graduate of Seymour High School.
He was employed for over two years at Covered Bridge Health Campus in Seymour as Assistant Food Service Director.
He enjoyed his time with his family and friends. Weekends were spent at Brooklyn Pizza and will always be remembered as J. Biggs No. 5.
A Celebration of Life service will take place at 2PM, August 6, at Harmony Park in Seymour.
