Joyce Taylor

January 27, 1945 - April 16, 2019

Ms. Joyce Ann Taylor, 74, of Seymour, passed away Tuesday, April 16, 2019 at IU Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She was born in Seymour to the late Eldon and Alberta (Weekley) Taylor.
She had worked as an assistant manager for Russell Stover’s and Jay’s Market. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church and her faith was extremely important to her. Joyce took great joy in sharing everything she had with her neighbors at her apartment complex. She lived for her family and dog, Ginger. Her whole life was about her children and grandchildren. Her hobbies included reading, on-line bingo, eating out and watching movies. Joyce impacted everyone she came in contact with through kind words and encouragement.
She is survived by her children, Barb (Tom) Lucas and Tony (Kanina) Bullard; grandchildren, Amanda (Eric), Sondra, Whitney, Austin, Mariah, Crystal and Jennifer; great-grandchildren, Zachary, Avah and Espn; and companion, Eddie Campfield.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
All arrangements were entrusted to the care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service. No public services will be conducted.

Joyce and I go back many years, she and I worked together for many years and shared many laughs together, she was an amazing person inside and out and she will be deeply missed, my thoughts and prayers are with her family, she was someone who I was proud to call my friend

Barb. I'm so very sorry to hear of your mom's passing. She made and held a special place in my heart. She is a big loss to many people, I'm sure. My deepest symphony goes out to you, Tony and the rest of the family. The common, and often used phrase by those expressing their condolences, are so justly used for Joyce. She really and truely is in a much better place, with her Lord and Saviour, Jesus and God, our Father. JB.

Joyce was a wonderful woman and her loss will surely be felt by the whole family. Loris and I send prayers for comfort.

I have known Joyce my entire life. My mother worked with her at Jays Market. She was always close to our family! She will definitely be missed!!!

I got to meet Ms. Joyce Taylor back in 2005, while she was working at the Russell Stover candy store. She was a sweet lady, always with a smile for every one. My condolences to Barb, Amanda and the entire. May Ms. Joyce rest in peace in the arms of our Creator.

Barbie & Tony - so very sorry to learn of your mom's passing. She was a pretty lady inside and out. She loved to laugh and share her smile and good humor with everyone. Please know you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My condolences go out to Barb and Tony and their families. I first met Joyce at Russell Stovers when she was my assistant manager. I was blessed to work with her and she later on became one of my dearest friend. We then also became neighbors at Jamestown apartments. I will miss her very much but I know she is in a better place!
