Mrs. Judy A. Hatton, 75, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 18th, 2014, at her residence.
Born May 8th, 1939, in Seymour, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Erma (Johnson) Burrell.
Judy and Robert Hatton would have been celebrating 50 years this coming September 4, 2014. They were married at St. John’sLutheranChurch, Sauers on September 4th, 1964.
Judy was a member of Central Christian Church in Seymour, where she served on the funeral committee and the V.F.W. ladies auxiliary, Post # 1925.
She was a devoted wife and loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She loved crocheting and quilting for all of her family, especially the new grandchildren when they arrived. She would always participate in sharing her recipes in the Brownstown Banner.
She enjoyed babysitting for most of grandchildren and friends of the family: Sara, Ryan, Tyler, Bryce, Brittany, Patrick, Amanda, Kaitlin, Kagen, Brianna, Andrea, Brooke, Braden, Patty, Nick, Hogan, Cameron, Maggie, Kate, Samantha, Dustin, and Lawson.
Mrs. Hatton is survived by her husband, Robert, children: Debra Ann (Roger) Martin, Edward D. (Judy)
Sutton, Dennis L. (Paula) Sutton, and Robin Lynn (Rohn) Buffington, grandchildren: Jacqueline (Matt) Magill, Holly (Wes) Birdsong, Matthew (April) Martin, Amanda (Ben) Chandler, Nicholas (Emily) Sutton, Rebecca Sutton, Kristofer Buffington, Steven Buffington, Justin Buffington, Priscilla Buffington, step grandchild: Brian (Kelly) Mullins, great grandchildren: Olivia Magill, Jacob Martin, Kaiden Buffington, Isaac Martin, Tait Birdsong, Madelyn Magill, step great grandchildren: Kylee and Brock Mullins, brother Jerry (Norma) Burrell, half brother Daniel Sutton, sisters and brothers in laws, Linda Hatton, Linda (Don) Russell, Mary Hatton and Bill Hatton, aunts and uncles, several nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her parents, infant brother Joseph Hugh Burrell and brother Wilbur Burrell.
Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel 10:00 a.m., on Thursday, May 22, 2014, with Rev. Lewis Wright, officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, May 21st, from 4 to 8 p.m. and after 9:00 a.m. until time of service on Thursday.
Burial will follow at RiverviewCemetery with a Voss Dove release.
Memorials may be written to Central Christian Church, Hospice of Schneck Medical Center or Pulmonary Fibrosis Research.
