Mrs. Judy Carlene Mize Spaulding, 71, of Seymour, passed away on Monday, July 2, 2018 at Schneck Medical Center. She was born in Indianapolis on February 17, 1947 to the late Richard O. and Emma R. (Brown) Mize.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, July 6 at 10 am with Rev. Roger Smith officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday from 4-8 pm and on Friday from 9 am until time of service.
On January 22, 1965, she married Norman O. Spaulding; he survives. Mrs. Spaulding was a laborer at Aisin where she retired after several years of service; she then worked in security at Valeo for 4 years. She lived in Jackson County her entire life.
She is survived by her husband of 53 years; children, Rose (Doug) Gorbett, Kathy Delph and Juanita (Alex) Martinez; 14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; brother, George (Donna) Mize; and sister, Rose Mize (Merritt) Yoder.
She is preceded in death by her parents; infant daughter, Carla Jo Spaulding; infant granddaughter, Sophia Martinez; brother, Dickey Mize Jr.; and sisters, Shirley Tuell and Ruth Smith; and infant sister, Caroletta Mize.
Memorials may be written to American Cancer Society or American Diabetes Association, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

I have so many memories of my mom. I wouldn't know where to start. But my greatest memories is how my mom held me close when things were hard. Told me to never give up . She taught me everything in this world. EXCEPT HOW to live without here. Now the time has come to learn this lesson. Hardest lesson. I LOVE YOU MOM. AND WE ARE TAKING CARE OF DAD.
