Jill Skaggs left a message on February 8, 2022:
Dr. Bobb will always hold a special place in my heart. He was so attentive, helped my children and I throughout the years, was the only doctor I have seen praying with patients. He always said he would pray for me or my kids when I asked it of him. He was never condescending, and a great teacher. When I was in the hospital with Covid Pneumonia Dr. Bobb made a notation on face book that I would be in his prayers and that I had a heart like no other. That meant the world to me. One time my daughter came in to work and I was so anxious to point out Dr. Bobb to her-as she had heard so much about him from me-and had never seen him. Her first words were, "That's Dr. Bobb?" She had envisioned a man of mere perfection. Well he was a man of perfection to me. One time I had a dream and someone asked me who I would want to be buried next to--my answer was Dr. Bobb. I know this will not happen; but it just goes to show how special he is to me. I will forever love you Kenneth Edward Bobb. May you welcome me into heaven with outstretched arms one day--I am looking forward to it. Jill Skaggs.

I'm sure if my mom, LaVerne Jones RN, was still alive, she would have unparalleled things to say about Dr. Bobb. I know she liked and respected him so much. For me, he was always kind and generous, a doctor in every sense of the word and a mover and shaker in the Jackson County community, offering services above and beyond what was expected. May he Rest In Peace and his family be comforted as they look back on his good and holy life. Sr. Mary Luke Jones, OSB
Peace of mind is a call away. We’re here when you need us most.

In memory of my husband,Morris Watson who was a rep for Bristol Myers Squibb,he would have sent his sympathies for sure. More than once Dr.Bobb wrapped Morris 's ankle because of a sprain . Morris couldnt believe the relief and praised Dr.Bobb 's special touch. My thoughts are with the family knowing what sadness comes with death but also grteful thuoghts for his life on earth. Dr. Bobb touched many, many lives. A true blessing to our community. I ,as a nurse, also heard him pray with many patients including a most beautiful appropriate prayer for my mother before her passing. One doesn't forget those things. Rest in peace and in God's arms.
Marilyn & Calvin Goodpaster left a message on October 24, 2021:
Our son, Tim Goodpaster was seriously ill when he was about 1. Our Dr. Thayer was on vacation. I was very young and very frightened. I started calling Doctors in the phone book. First was Dr. Bobb. I explained how ill Tim was and that Dr. Thayer was unavailable. I lived in N. Vernon but Dr.Bobb said if I would come right away he would see him as the 2 doctors were good friends and he knew Dr. Thayer would be back the next day. He scribbled down a recipe (orange juice, water, salt and sugar) and said to get a TBS down him every hour as he was severely dehydrated. The next day Dr. Thayer got him admitted to Riley where they said the mixture (which we would now call Pedialyte) is what saved his life. We will always remember Dr. Bobb as a kind, loving lifesaver.

My parents became Dr Bobb's patients in 1955- two of his earliest patients. He delivered me in 1957. Even all these decades later, if he saw my parents out and about, he knew who they were and he brought up some of the past treatments he performed for them. May we all be blessed with such a sharp memory! Rest well, ye good and faithful servant.

A True Legend. He wasn’t our family doctor, but yet he was always incredibly kind to the Emkes family. What he did for the field of medicine and the Seymour Community would have to be considered priceless. Don’t think I’ve ever met a more complete gentleman and True Professional like Dr. Bobb. We’ll miss him here on earth, but I’m sure the angels are celebrating. Dr. Bobb’s character, values, integrity, and accomplishments will always serve as an inspiration…….Mark Emkes

I worked with Dr.Bobb for many years and he was a God loving man. I've seen him pray with his patients many times and he considered all his patients his friends. He always treated his patients with kindness, but was stern when necessary. He will certainly be missed by many in the community. Rest in peace Dr. Bobb.

First off I’d like to say how very sorry I am for the loss of such an amazing man! My Aunt, Gernetta Land, worked alongside of him for many years. Dr.Bobb and my Dad, Marvin Field, spent a lot of time not only as doctor patient, but also shooting trap together. My Dad is now in a wheelchair and not in good health but if he wishes to attend the services of his friend, I will bring him. Our family is so indebted to your Father. He will always be remembered and missed! God gained one of the greatest souls when he called Dr Bobb home!

Ellen Baxter left a message on October 23, 2021:
Dr. Bobb attended my dad's memorial service in November 2015. Dr. Bobb shared a funny memory of my dad. They had attended a medical convention together. They were playing golf together, and they tipped over the golf cart. That may have been after they had been to the clubhouse. The memory made laugh. I appreciated Dr. Bobb's kindness during my dad's memorial service. I know my dad valued Dr. Bobb as a colleague and friend.

Missy Robinson left a message on October 23, 2021:
I cannot even put into words how broken hearted I am. To me, this man was invincible. It was 31 years ago, the first day I met Dr Bobb when I interviewed for a Medical Assistant job at his office- I knew immediately I wanted to work for and learn from this man. Not only was he my boss for 10 years, but he was Like a Grandfather to me. Dr a Bobb was there for every major event in my life. My son’s birth, tolerating me through RN school, came to my college graduation and calmed me for the boards. He comforted me when I lost my Mom, and he came to my wedding. I learned things about medicine that they don’t teach you in Nursing school. Dr Bobb was one of the most compassionate and probably the most intelligent Physician I have ever worked with. Dr Bobb was strong in his faith and I witnessed him pray at the bedside with families as their loved one was passing. Even after Dr Bobb retired, I talked to him often and We never parted without a hug. I will forever be grateful for everything I ever learned not only about healthcare, but also life in general. Dr Bobb was a wonderful Doctor, teacher and friend. REst peacefully Dr Bobb. Much love, Missy
