Kenneth “Kenny” Lee Collins, 58, of Seymour, passed away in the comfort of his home on September 15, 2020. Born October 7, 1961, in Seymour, he was the son of the late Glen Collins and Linda (Roger) Nowland Collins McGill. On August 4, 2001, in Gatlinburg, TN, he married Teresa Gayle (Dunn) Collins who survives.

Kenny was a member of the First Baptist Church of Crothersville. He spent many years as a truck driver with Underwood Industries. Kenny enjoyed riding his moped, watching game shows, and cookouts. He thoroughly took pleasure in spending time with his children and grandchildren, especially the babies. He loved his trusty sidekick, Batman, and was rarely without him by his side.

Besides his beloved wife Teresa, he is survived by his mother, Linda and stepfather, Roger; children Cassandra Collins, Joshua Collins, and Christey Collins; stepchildren Jennifer Simmons and Joseph Murphy; 9 grandchildren, Braydin Lashley, Bryer Bowman, Reighnah Collins, Kloweigh Collins, Cambria Collins, Marley Collins, Jaylynn Broghdon, Michael Collins, and Grant Meadors; brothers Darrell Collins, Mike McGill, Charles McGill, Dennis McGill, and Everett McGill, and sister Glenda Collins Drummond.

Kenny was preceded in death by his father, Glen; his son Christopher Collins, his daughter April Collins; his sister Patricia Charles; maternal grandparents, and Dave and Kathryn Nowland; and nephew Tim “Puffy” Williams.

Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, September 18, 2020 at 3:00 pm with Reverend Jeff Matthews officiating. Family and friends may call on Friday from 11:00 am until the time of service. Facemasks are respectfully required at all services.

Memorials honoring Kenny may be written to AA, First Presbyterian Church (Seymour) and Schneck Medical Center Hospice, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

“Actions speak louder than words.” Watching Kenny’s determined, deliberate and difficult steps, in and out of church; while gravely ill spoke louder than 1000 words ever could have. “Our loss is heaven’s gain.” Continued prayers for the family...

I loved Kenny. He was kind and witty. He brought many smiles to me and the gang at the church basement. God speed Kenny in your next adventure. Heaven has gained an angel.

I have many memories of Kenny as we grew up, always smiling and hanging out with Mike - several pictures of Mom holding him and rocking - she loved him. Thank you, Teresa, for your thoughtfulness in keeping Mike and me posted. RIP Kenny.

kenny and i were like brothers growing up , when he came to kentucky we always had a great time , one time they came to see mom and she was in michigan i went back to indiana with them to get a 60 chevy impala that glen and linda gave me , when i was getting ready to leave kenny wanted to come back with me , we had taken a 8 track player and some speakers that i put in the car , we listened to lynard skynard , and deep purple and of course steppenwolf and a little of spooky tooth we got home late that night i was wore out he and james maggard and a bunch were playing cards in the old ice tipple scale house it got late and i was in bed , i woke up the next morning and could not find him scared me to death seens i had locked him out of the house didnt even know it he had to spend the night in the scale house i regret that we never kept up with each other , loved him like a brother rest in peace kenny we know we will meet again in heaven
