Kenneth “Kenny” Wayne Marsh, 66, passed away peacefully at home after a long illness Sunday, August 25, 2024. He was born in Seymour, Indiana on November 7, 1957, to Dale and Mary (Nicholson) Marsh.
Kenny worked with his father for many years as caretaker of Riverview Cemetery. Afterward, he also worked for many years for the Department of Public Works. He loved camping and being in the outdoors, riding his motorcycles, and all kinds of music. Kenny also enjoyed all things Western and flea markets, where he was known for “wheeling and dealing.”
Left behind to cherish Kenny’s memory are his lifelong companion, Brenda Smith; His mother, Mary “Lucille” Marsh; daughter, Tracey (Edward Brennen) Cole; granddaughters, Emmalynne Lopez and Alexia Rieckers; great granddaughter, Evalynne Lopez; brother, Joe (Laura) Marsh; sister, Jill (Mark) Murray; and several nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his father, Dale Marsh.
Funeral services for Kenny will be held Thursday, August 29, 2024 at 1:00 p.m. at Voss and Sons Funeral Home, 316 North Chestnut Street, Seymour. Pastor Cleon Wright will officiate. Friends and family may call at the funeral home Thursday from 11 a.m. until the time of the service. Kenny will be laid to rest in City Cemetery, Seymour, immediately following the service.
