Kevin Christopher Oliger, 54, of Seymour, passed away on January 16, 2021 at Hoosier Chirstian Village. He worked at Toyota and was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church. Kevin was a member of the Moose Lodge and the Fraternal Order of Eagles. He was a graduate of Seymour High School.

Kevin was born in 1967 to Robert A. Oliger and Patricia (Wayman) Oliger.

He is survived by his two sons Jeremiah Christopher and Jacob Andrew (Hiaely) Oliger, grandchildren Jeremiah Christopher Jr, Jerika Jade, Jace River, Jayleigh Annette, Jaylynn Creek, Jersey Skye, Forest Michael, Rylan Jo. He is also survived by his brother Brian (Miala) Oliger, sister Debra Oliger, two nieces and a nephew.

He is preceded in death by a grandchild, Jenna Alexis Oliger.

He was a loving son, brother, father, grandfather, and uncle. Kevin will be dearly missed by his family and friends.

Friends may call on January 21, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 11:30 to 1:30.

Funeral service will be at 1:30 January 21, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with Pastor Krebs officiating in absence of Pastor Currao.

Interment will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour, Indiana to follow.

The family appreciates all the prayers and concern for them in this time of loss. Kevin will be missed by many friends in the community. Cards and notes of condolence will be most welcome.
For the safety of the family all services will be private.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required before admittance to the funeral home as well as social distancing within the building. We kindly ask that there be no physical contact such as hugs or handshakes to protect staff and the family. Attendance is limited to 25 people at any given time.

It's been a little over a month now and it still hurts just the same. I keep thinking your gonna call or that I'm gonna see your truck at the moose. I miss you so much dad. You were the only man who ever treated me like a lady. And i will forever be your hiaelys comet.. god i miss you dad!

This is (as he would call me) Joshie Sonn and i just wanted to say that Chris was like my backup dad to me and i will always remember how he would sneak up on me and then he would poke me in the side and make a squish noise and how he would tell me once in a while that he would never hurt me and that he loved me. Really gonna miss my little buddy. We hung out at work and after and he was always good to my daughter bc he would laugh with her and they pick at each other.He definitely had a smile that could light up a room. My heart is very sad that he’s gone and I’d wish I’d got to see him more. Rest well my brother. Love ya buddy :pray:
