Larry Speer

May 6, 1961 - March 8, 2020

Mr. Larry Nolan Speer, Jr., 58, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Schneck Medical Center. He was born in Greensburg, IN to the late Larry Nolan Speer, Sr.(Jeannie) and Ruby (Wilson) Byrd (Joe), she survives.
A private Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
Larry enjoyed being outdoors with wildlife, fishing, hunting and mushroom hunting. He loved spending time with his family and making them laugh.
Larry is survived by his mother; children, Nolan (Angie) Speer, Monica (Skeeter) Speer; grandchildren, Emma Speer, Joshua Speer, Jaylin Barnes, Gracin Reynolds; brother, David (Donna) Speer; sisters, Twilia (Jack) Kannady, Debbie Byrd as well as the love of his life, Grace Speer.
He was preceded in death by his father and stepmother; stepfather; and son, Joshua James Speer.
Memorials may be written to Muscatatuck Wildlife Refuge Children’s Programs, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

To our beloved brother Sonny. You are sadly missed. We already are missing your 4:30am texts each day encouraging us before our workday. Twila would text you on Sundays so we could watch Dr. Charles Stanley TV church at the same time & you would watch Joel Osteen church at the same time with Ma. It would make us feel like we were together. You always wanted family to be together. You loved your Ma dearly. You said so to us often. You loved your children & grandchildren dearly. You said that often too. We have fond memories of being in the outdoors with you when we all were younger. You me & Pa fishing for that whopper on Hubie's pond, rescuing Twila & Grace from that massive turtle before it jumped in the boat with them. That always made us all laugh. Thank you for the good memories. We also know you loved the Lord. We imagine you heaven in the arms Jesus and loved ones. Rest in peace brother. Twila & Jack.
