Laura was many things to many people. She was gifted, inspirational, grounded, sassy, sensitive, salty, funny but always loyal and loving. She was my daughters' piano teacher, and was the director in their church choir. She and Tom also employed one of my daughters at Kovener's Corner. Laura called me each spring so that I could come over and gather some of her lilacs to take home to paint. This "Domestic Goddess" loved to cook. It was always a highlight of the Christmas season to have a girls' luncheon at Laura's. We always had lots of laughter, sometimes tears, but always wonderful culinary delights. This gracious lady loved her friends, but her family was her heart....she loved them dearly. We will miss her, but will hold close, many beautiful memories and find peace.

Always enjoyed a warm cup of Campbell’s Chicken Noodle soup prepared by Laura while arguing whether dinosaurs exist. Those were fun times. I always was wondering what Tom was thinking. He would just laugh and smile at to hard heads going at it. Sometimes I brought dinosaurs up just to aggravate her. She would say, “don’t start it....Our prayers are with you and your family.
