Mr. Leonard ‘Whitey’ Goode, Jr., 76, of Seymour, passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017, at his home. He was born February 4, 1941, in Louisville, KY, to the late Leonard E. Goode, Sr, and Margaret (Ford) Goode. On August 14, 1971, he married Rita Knichel, she survives. He enjoyed everything about being outdoors, John Deere tractors, and his bibb overalls; but he loved his family and his dogs. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was always joking around.
He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Rita Goode; children, Robin Goode Redicker, Christina Wall, Jack Knichel, and James Doyle; 8 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and two sisters, Peggy Ransdell and Donna Crigler.
Funeral services will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, September 2 at 4 pm with Randy Lankford officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday from 2-4 pm.
