Linda K. Clarkson

December 15, 1946 - January 10, 2017

Mrs. Linda K. Clarkson, 70 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, January 10, 2017, in Columbus, with her husband by her side.

She was born December 15, 1946 in Bunny, Arkansas, the daughter of the late Coy Busby and Barbara (Smith) Busby, who survives.

Linda graduated from Caraway High School, Caraway, Arkansas. She retired after 17 years with Cosco, in Columbus. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Freetown.

On July 1, 1983, she married Roy Clarkson, at Bethel Baptist Church in Columbus..

She is survived by her mother, husband, children, Christina McCarty, Debra Newhouse, Scott McCarty and Darrell Clarkson, 9 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren, 1 brother, Albert Busby, 2 sisters, Sue Hill and Carolyn Busby, several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Family and friends may call at Voss chapel on Friday from 3 to 7 p.m.

There will be a service provided by the Carter Funeral Home in West Plain Missouri, at a later date.

Burial will be in Fore Cemetery in Bakersfield, Missouri.

Memorial checks may be written to the First Baptist Church of Freetown through Voss & Sons Funeral and Crematory Service, Seymour, Indiana.
