Linda Starr

September 28, 1948 - June 22, 2020

Linda Starr, 71, of Seymour passed away Monday, June 22, 2020 at her home surrounded by loving family. She was born in Indianapolis to parents Marshall Isaacs and Dorothy Jean McDonald. On November 20,1966, at Surprise Methodist Church, she married Steven D. Starr who survives.

Linda graduated from Seymour High School and was a member of Honeytown Christian Church. She worked at Rose Acre Farms for many years. Linda enjoyed cooking, gardening, and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her mother, husband, and children; Judy (Jeff) Vance, John (Stephanie) Starr, and Jodi Graham; grandchildren, Jordyn Cox, Joshua Vance, Jacob Vance, Lily Starr, Kayla Taylor and Brooke Taylor; great granddaughter, Kennadi Black; brother, Marshall “Butch” (Brenda) Isaacs Jr.; sister, Bobbi Jo (Harold) Garland; sister-in- law, Donna Starr; and brother-in-law, Jerry Otte.

Linda was preceded in death by her father; sister, Vicki Sweeney; brother-in-law, Bud Sweeney; brother-in-law, James Michael Starr; sister-in-law Monica “Pixie” Otte; and sister-in-law Ann Giles.

A private, immediate family gathering will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Thursday, June 25, 2020 with Pastor Dennis Williams officiating. A private family burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery. Due to the Covid-19 pandemic, face masks are required in the funeral home.

Memorials may be given to Honeytown Christian Church, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Lots of memories of holiday gatherings with all of our families at Bill and Hilda's house and at the local forestry. Aunt Linda was very sweet and always seemed to be smiling or laughing! This world has lost another beautiful soul. Sorry for your loss! Love, Monica

Worked with Linda several years. She was a sweet person and a great co-worker the time we worked together. We would walk on our lunch hour on nice days. To hrr family so sorry for your loss. Remember all the good times you shared. God bless you all!
