Lona Hicks

Mrs. Lona Hicks, 77 Seymour, passed away June 15, 2014.

Born October 16, 1936, in Hazard, KY, she was the daughter of Bradley and Adelina Everage Amburgey.

She was married to Vernon Hicks.

Mrs. Hicks was a member of the Church of the Lord Jesus Christ Crothersville.

Lona is survived by her children: Edward & Phyllis, Ralph & Kimberly and Dean & Patricia Claxton; 8 grand and 2 great grandchildren; Brothers, Ralph &Pam, Herbert, Bennie & Bernette Amburgey, SI, Della Richie.

She is preceded by her parents, husbands, Winford Claxton and Oscar Hubbard, Brothers Rufus and William, Si Gladys Amburgey.

Funeral services will be at the Church of the Lord Christ, 302 West Dixon, Crothersville, Thursday June 19, 2014 at 10:30 am, with Rev. Herbie White.

Calling will be Wednesday 4-8 pm and Thursday after 9:30 am all at the church.

Burial will follow at Spurgeon Cemetery, Scott County.
