Louella Williams

Mrs. Louella S. “Snowy” Williams, 81 of Seymour passed away, Friday, January 20th at 5:10 a.m. in North Vernon.

Louella was born in Russell Springs, Kentucky on January 26, 1935, the daughter of the late Arvis and Eva (Patterson) Bennett.

She was a member of the Seymour First Baptist Church and was the owner operator of Fashion Tress Beauty Salon of Seymour for over 40 years.

Louella was known by her friends and the community as Snowy Williams. She enjoyed Quilting, Knitting and traveling.

She married Thomas R. Williams in 1958, in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

Snowy will be greatly missed by her husband for 58 years Tom, children: Michael (Linda) Williams, Cynthia (Robbin) Hughes, Tammella Diggs and Thomas B. Williams, brother: Eugene (Brenda) Bennett, grandchildren:
Brandon (Kourtney) Simmons, Jonathan Diggs, Andrea Bray, Dawn (Holly) McDavid, Kaitlin Williams, Troy Ford and Timothy Hughes, 5 great Grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral service will be held at Voss Chapel on Tuesday, January 24th at 11:00 a.m., with Pastor Jay Bennett, Officiating.

Burial will follow at Vernon Cemetery, Vernon, Indiana.

Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Monday from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Tuesday after 10:00 a.m. until time of service.
