Mrs. Lyndell “Linda” Robinson Knotts Barnett Stanley, 82, of Seymour, passed away Sunday, May 11, 2014, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana in Columbus.
Born September 11, 1931, in Kirklin, IN, she was the daughter of Charles Emmitt and Nonnie (Bell) Robinson.
She married Orville H. Knotts in 1950-1969. She was married to Don Barnett from 1971 to 1977 and he preceded her in death. In 1978 she married Carl T. Stanley who preceded her in death in 2006.
Linda was a beautician who owned Linda’s New Image Salon in Seymour. Linda was an avid reader and enjoyed the challenge of a good picture puzzle. She also enjoyed the outdoors and liked camping, fishing and traveling.
She is survived by her children: Charlotte (William) Foster, Tony (Alana) Knotts, and Andy Barnett; grandchildren Sonya (Phil Nale) Turner, Chris (Lori Skinner) Knotts, Tiffany (David Blish) Knotts, Kimberly (Adam Nicholson) Knotts, Tyler Knotts, Christy (Scott) Casella, Joey (Erin Hanley) Foster, Kayla Barnett, and great grandchildren Madison Turner, Meghan Turner, Garrett Knotts, Isabelle Knotts, Keilyn Knotts, Devan Skinner, Molly Nicholson, John Casella, and Sophie Casella..
She was preceded in death by her parents, husbands, brothers Murrel, Jim, Howard, Charlie and Jack Robinson, and sisters Alene, Marie, and Sadra Robinson.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, May 14, at 1:00 PM with Rev. Bruce Cochran and Rev. Larry Tingle officiating.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, from 11:00 AM until time of service.
Burial will take place at RiverviewCemetery with a Voss Dove release.
