Mrs. Melissa (Baker) Gordon, passed away on June 3, 2021, at her home.

She was born on August 23, 1965, to John Baker and Mary (Brock) Denson. On July 3, 2003, she married Stephen Gordon who survives. Melissa cherished her family and was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.

Melissa is survived by her daughter, Brittney (Josh) Grimes; mother, Mary Denson; grandchildren, Joshua Grimes Jr., Abel Grimes, Natalie Grimes, and Eliza Grimes; sisters, Angie (Edward) Pyle, Tammy (Keith) Dickey, and Lisa Baker; brother, Robert Jason (Rosie) Baker; stepsister, Sherri (Bill) Patchen; a host of nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, John; grandparents, Robert and Bonnie Baker and Bizzie Lee and Rufus Brock; two aunts and three uncles.

Visitation will be held on Sunday, June 6, 2021, at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 12-3pm.

In keeping with Melissa’s wishes, cremation services are being provided by Voss & Sons Funeral Service and Crematory.

Memorials may be written to Voss Funeral Service to help offset funeral costs.

All arrangements have been entrusted to Voss & Sons Funeral Service in Seymour.
