Mrs. Margaret Elaine Guy, 89, of Seymour, passed away Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Jackson County to the late Ross and Doris (Mellencamp) Stigdon.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday, December 16 at 11:00 a.m. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Monday from 9:00 a.m. until time of service.
On December 23, 1948, she married Charles “Bud” Guy; he preceded her in death in April 2012. She was a very good mother that loved to use her talents of sewing and crocheting to make childrens clothes. After Bud retired, they bought a motorcycle and enjoyed riding all over the US. They were members of High Rollers Motorcycle Group.
Margaret is survived by her children, Barbara (George) Childers, Marlene (Melvin) Cross, Lisa (Russ) Terry, Curtis Guy (Suzy Crews); grandchildren, Teresina (Paul) Jackson, Jeanette Terry, Jonathan (Shannon) Cross, Shamra Terry, Charles (Andrea) Cross, Jimmy Terry, Jennifer (Jeff) Hoffman; 14 great-grandchildren; 17 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Louis “Bill” Stigdon; sister, Sharon Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Charles “Bud” Guy; granddaughter, Bobbie Edwards; sisters, Betty Bullard, Charlotte Allman, Donna Barger.
