Margaret Lucas, 88, passed away on February 2, 2021 at Hickory Creek Nursing Facility. Margaret graduated from Tampico High School and retired from Cummins Engine Plant.

Margaret was born in 1932 to the late Randall Lucas and Minnie (Cassidy) Lucas in Salem, Indiana.

She is survived by nephews Michael Lucas, Joe Lucas, Randy Lucas, Brad Lucas, and Scott Sizemore, nieces Lori Jackson, Peggy Robison, Stefanie Lucas, Julie Zavaro, Cindi Sizemore, Vicki Kelsey and Beverly Parker. She is also survived by her brother Jerry (Betty) Lucas and sister Joann (Kurt) Gloger.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, sister Betty Bowling and brother Ron R. Lucas.

She enjoyed spending time with her family as well as in her rock garden, tending to her rose bushes, sewing, and porcelain horse collecting.

Friends may call on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at Voss & Sons Funeral Service from 9-10 am.

Funeral Services will be conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, February 6, 2021 at 10am at Voss & Sons Chapel.

In accordance with CDC guidelines, masks are required as well as social distancing within the building. Cards and notes of condolence are most welcome. Margaret will be missed deeply by friends and family.

Family asks that memorial checks be written to Bartholomew County Humane Society.
