Martha Sandhage Porter

Martha Sandhage Porter, 83, of Seymour passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family on Friday, August 28, 2020. Martha was born in Jennings County to the late Adam Sandhage and Laura (Carr) Sandhage.
Martha was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and graduated from Hayden High School. She loved her flowers, crocheting, and ceramics. She poured her own molds and fired her ceramics in her own kilns. She did the most amazing job painting all the details on her ceramics and enjoyed giving them as gifts to family and clientele through the years. She traveled many places in her lifetime. Martha loved her canine companions Joey, Lizard, and Duke.
Martha is survived by her brother, Charles (Coralie) Sandhage, brother in law, Frank Prewitt and her nieces and nephews; Lisa (Doug) Cline, James (Crystal) Prewitt, Andrew (Anita) Prewitt, Craig (Stephanie) Prewitt, Teresa (Jeff) Jones, and Claudia Sandhage as well as several great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents and sister, Carolyn Prewitt.
Private family graveside services will be conducted by Voss Funeral Service.
