Mary Elizabeth Huber, 97, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Tuesday September 15, 2015, at Covered Bridge in Seymour.
She was born on October 2, 1917, in Seymour, the daughter of the late Charles H. and Mary E. (Huber) Emley.
On July 14, 1943, in Orlando, Florida, she married Edison Huber, who preceded her in death on June 18, 2001.
Mary was a homemaker and a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother who enjoyed crocheting and baking. She was a long-time member of the St. Paul United Church of Christ in Seymour and later a member of Peace Lutheran Church.
Mary is survived by daughters; Barbara (Carlos) Peters, Susan (Thomas) Egloff, four grandchildren; Angela (Rick) Carter, Steven (Debbie) Peters, Christopher (Meghan) Egloff and Brian (Gina) Egloff. 8 great-grandchildren; Nicholas Carter, Adam Carter, Alayna Peters Kyla Peters, Jase Joyner, Ty Joyner, Nolan Egloff and Edison Egloff.
She is preceded in death by her parents, brother; John A. Emley, infant sister; Hettie Mae Emley, and two infant brothers
Funeral service will be at 2:00 pm, on Friday September 18, 2015, at Voss Chapel with Rev. Scott Roberts officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Friday, September 18, 2015, from 12:00 pm until time of service.
