Mrs. Mary Jane Hanner, 98, of Freetown, passed away on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Lutheran Community Home. She was born June 15, 1919, in Washington County, to the late John and Amanda (Warner) Ferguson.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, March 3 at 11 am with Rev. Doug Pogue officiating. Burial will follow at Freetown Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 4-7 pm and on Saturday from 10 am until time of service.
She was a housewife and enjoyed caring for her family. She also enjoyed gardening and flowers. She married James Frank Hanner on April 18, 1942, he preceded her in death on October 2, 2002.
She is survived by her children, Betty Lee, Bob (Robin) Hanner, Wanda (Eddie) Root, Jerry Hanner and Rick (Waneta) Hanner; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, James “Frank” Hanner; daughter, Donna Hanner; 1 grandchild; and 8 brothers and sisters.
