Mr. Melvin T. McCullough, 89, of Seymour, IN, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2017 at 11:15 am . Melvin was born in Westport, IN on April 1, 1928 the son of Roland and Hazel (Campbell) McCullough.

On June 19, 1965 in Seymour, he married Tillie Faye Frederick who preceded him in death on August 14, 2003. He married Dottie Kidd of Seymour at First Church of God, she survives.

Melvin was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in North Vernon. He served in the United States Navy from May of 1946 through March of 1948. He worked as a Central Office Engineer at the Telephone Company for over 20 years. He also worked in the Accounting department and a route salesman. Mr. McCullough owned a grocery store in Cortland from 1961-1965.
He is survived by his daughter; Bonnita (Gary) Graves Step-children; Linda Kay Bevers, Patricia (Danny) JoAnn Sutton, Bonnie Jean (Joe) Bowley, Richard Wayne (Billie) McKinney, Gary (Tina) Eisenmenger, John Eisenmenger, Tammy Downs, Luana Piercefield, Harold Eisenmenger and Michael Eisenmenger; 3 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren, several step-grandchildren and step-great grandchildren and sister, Sally (Ervin) Caldwell.
He was preceded in death by his parents; previous wife Tillie; son; Edward McCullough and sister, Leota Jayne.
Funeral Service will be at Voss and Sons Funeral Service, Seymour, Indiana on Friday, April 21 at 10 a.m. with Bishop Doyle Myers officiating. Burial will follow in Riverview Cemetery burial will be at Riverview Cemetery with full military graveside rites conducted by the VFW Post #1925, American Legion Post #89, DAV #47, Korean Veterans and Vietnam Veterans #7, all of Seymour.
Family and friends may call at Voss Chapel on Thursday, April 20, 2017 from 6 to 8 p.m. and on Friday after 9 a.m. until the time of the service.
