Mr. Melvin Wayne Clark, 84, of Seymour, passed away Monday, September 16, 2019. He was born in Seymour to the late Oliver T. Clark and Ethel J. Mills.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday, September 20 at 1 pm. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
Family and friends may call at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Friday from 11 am until time of service.
He was a member of The Point. Melvin drove the church bus and was head usher for the Nazarene Church. On December 21, 1956, he married Mary Catherine (Lucas) Clark; she preceded him in death on March 10, 2007.
Melvin is survived by his children, Jerry (Ronalee) Clark, Tony Clark; grandchildren, Sean Clark, Laura Clark, Ronald Clark; 2 great-granddaughters; brothers, Danny Clark, Dennis Clark, and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father and mother; wife; great-grandson, Malahkai Clark; brothers, Tom Clark, Richard Clark.
