Michael Goen, 37, of Seymour, passed away on Wednesday, August 23, 2017. He was born on January 23, 1980, in Seymour, to Everett Goen and Mona (Sweany) Thompson. He was a member of Seymour Christian Church. He enjoyed playing video games, doing word searches, reading his Bible, and playing with his service dog, Braxton. On May 20, 2015, he married Angela Sanders, she survives.
He is survived by his mother, Mona (Danny) Thompson; his wife, Angela Goen; children, Alexis Goen, Takeasha Gellhouse, and Steven Gellhouse; brothers, David Booker, Michael Booker, Shawn Booker, and Roger Estes; sisters, Erla Hawkins, Bonnie Hood, Shanna Booker, Amanda Brooks, and Pamela Guy.
He is preceded in death by his father, Everett Goen.
Funeral services will be at Voss & Sons Funeral Service on Saturday, August 26, at 6 pm with Rev. Bill Lockman officiating. Cremation will follow conducted by Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
Family and friends may call on Saturday from 4 pm until time of service.
Memorials may be written to the families funeral expenses, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
