So sorry for this great loss, to family and friends and this community! So many memories come through of him since I was raised in Freetown.. Mike was always one to give you a smile and a hello! And I never recall ever seeing him that he wasn't willing to do a part in things that was needing to be done for this community. Love and prayers to the family .. I pray for comfort, peace and strength throughout the time ahead for each of you. I know it was a loving family.. and he will truly be missed always.

I have great memories from the New Year’s Eve parties and End of Summer cookouts. I still remember the first time I interacted with him. He was sixteen and working one of the game booths at the Freetown 4th of July Festival. I wasn’t a game player; however, he talked me into throwing darts at the balloons. I don’t know exactly why he instantly made such an impression on me. I was only ten, yet the memory is still vivid. His presence will be missed not only by friends and family, but by the entire community that he served so well. To his amazing family, I will continue to keep you in my prayers.
