Mick Guenthenspberger He was a wonderful husband, father, uncle, son and friend. I have know Mick since the 70s. Mick and My late husband Paul Philip Altepeter we’re good friends. My fondest memory of Mick was one of the evenings when they got off of work they came back over to the house to hang out smoking on those old cigarettes, LOL while sitting around the table laughing just basically joking back-and-forth to each other. They started teasing and aggravating me while I was cleaning up the kitchen. Back then I was a very quiet person. Can’t remember what it was they were talking about but they jokingly said something I didn’t care for and I came back at the both of them like you wouldn’t believe!! They were just teasing me. Then we all started laughing. That’s when Mick started calling me a nickname> Spitfire. That’s a memory that I have never forgotten. He was a wonderful friend. At a drop of a hat he would try to help in anyway he could. Even with all the struggles he had went through these last couple years he still thought of others instead of himself. He will always and forever be my friend. See you in heaven one day my friend. Now you can rest! Mick and Vickys Loving Friend, Spitfire- Carol Altepeter

A veteran, hard worker, and loving family man Mike was. Met him with his heart open, always smiling that’s the person he was. Enjoyed grilling, fishing, and playing with the dog He might have been slim but was strong enough to split a log. He loved his work and family with all of his heart Even though we were miles away, he played always a big part. May you rest in peace we know you are in good hands Until we meet again, my former father-in-law and always a friend. Condolences from Melanie Shotts (former Guenthenspberger) and family in Germany
