Mildred Behrman, 91, of Columbus, passed away on Wednesday, September 10th, 2014 at the Lutheran Community Home.
She was born June, 8 1923, in Columbus, IN. She was the daughter of the late Walter and Erma (Bode) Horman.
On April 27, 1942, in Norfolk VA, she married Glen L. Behrman who preceded her in death, Oct. 2008.
Mildred was a lifetime member of St. John’s Lutheran Church, White Creek, and was a woman of great faith. She was a homemaker and member of the Ladies Aid at White Creek.
She is survived by her children; Jim (Linda ) Behrman, Dale (Wilma) Behrman, Lou Ann (Dan) Hoevener, Linda (Everett) Newkirk, Lori (David) Koeberlein, grandchildren; Jamie (Charity) Behrman, Jon (Tammy) Behrman, Tim (Rachel) Hoevener, Angie Otte (fiancé Bill Mousa), Mike (Brittany) Hoevener, Barrett Newkirk, Chuck (Kirstie) Newkirk, Sara (Nathan) Rapp, Matt Koeberlein, Ed (Colleen) Koeberlein and Beth (Tyler) Meyer, great grandchildren; Harrison Behrman, Helen Behrman, Harlan Behrman, Oscar Behrman, Jordan Sage, Megan Sage, Jessica Hoevener, Abigail Hoevener, Kourtney Otte, Katherine Otte, Emerson Otte, Wyatt Hoevener, Owen Newkirk, Benjamin Rapp, Wade Rapp, and 3 great grandchildren on the way and one brother, John (Evelyn) Horman.
She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, infant daughter, great granddaughter Erika Otte, and sister Geneva Kerkhof.
Services will be at St John’s Lutheran Church, Friday, September 12, 2014, at 10:00 AM with Rev. Joshua Cook officiating.
Burial will be at St John’s Lutheran Cemetery, White Creek.
Friends my call at Voss Chapel, Seymour, on Thursday, from 4:00-8:00PM and at the church on Friday, from 9:00 until time of service.
