Michael Lee Williams, 64, of Seymour Indiana, passed away Wednesday, December 8, 2021 at IU Methodist Hospital.

Mike found his spiritual home at Immanuel Lutheran Church and was a faithful member for many years. He was a graduate of Seymour High School, and recently retired to enjoy time at home. Mike was a Sr. Regional Maintenance Manager for Wal-Mart Distribution Center and worked there for over 29 years. He had also worked previously with Ben Franklin, Lowe’s Distribution, and Wynright Corporation. Mike was a member of the Moose and Eagles Lodge, the Reddington Fire Department, Scottish Rite Masonic Lodge, and the Police Review Board in Seymour. Hobbies Mike had a passion for included: Being on his tractors, caring for his cows, and anything to do with history or guns. Most importantly, Mike loved spending time with his family.

Born September 25, 1957, in Seymour he was the son of the late Donald L. and Florence J. (Baker) Williams. On June 21, 1997 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, he married Brenda J. Haley. Mike will be dearly missed by his daughter, Brooke Marie Williams; his step-sons, Jonathon Dale Horton, Timothy Wayne (Catherine) Horton, and step-daughter Tamara Kay Bailey; grandchildren, Hana, Mercedes, Sawyer, Brady, and Lucy; his 3 step-great-grandchildren; his brother Larry (Susie) Williams; his sister-in-law, Rita Richmond Williams; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Brenda; his siblings, Donna (Bryan) Skinner, and Patrick Williams; his nephew Dwayne Williams; and one step-great-grandchild.

Funeral service for Michael Lee Williams will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, December 15, 2021 at Immanuel Lutheran Church with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg, Rev. Philip Bloch, and Rev. Jimmy Rodriguez officiating. Internment will follow at Riverview Cemetery, Seymour.

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. Tuesday, December 14, 2021, at Voss Chapel, Seymour and from 9 a.m. Wednesday until time of service at the church.

Memorials may be written to Immanuel Lutheran Church or the charity of one’s choice through the funeral home.
