Melinda E. McFarlin, 40, of Seymour, IN passed away December 29, 2021, at Schneck Medical Center. Melinda was born in Madison, IN in 1981 to Debra Freeman and the late Lester Freeman. On May 5, 2005, she married the love of her life, Timothy McFarlin.

Melinda worked for RR Donnelly as a press operator. She enjoyed watching movies, working on cars, and spending time with her family. Melinda and her daughter spent lots of time gardening and working on flowers. Most of all she loved her family.

Melinda is survived by her husband; Timothy McFarlin, mom; Debra King, daughter; Emily McFarlin, son; TJ McFarlin, brother; Charlie Freeman, sisters; Melissa Freeman, Melanie King, and Leslie Smith, and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father, Lester Freeman.

Visitation will be held on Thursday January 6, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Home from 5pm to 7pm. Service will be held at Voss and Sons Funeral Home on Friday January 7, 2022, at 11am.

Family requests memorial contributions be written to the Shriners Club Cincinnati OH in care of Voss and Sons Funeral Service.
