Myrtle D. Flory, 94, of Seymour passed away Saturday, June 20, 2020 at Zionsville Meadows. Myrtle was born in Seymour on March 7, 1926 to parents Millard and Lessie (Ault) Chasteen.
Myrtle worked as a proofreader and in accounting.
She is survived by her daughter, Lorry Courtney; grandchildren, Robin Courtney, Kristofer (Fatima) Courtney; great grandchildren; Kenady Courtney, Skylar Patrick, Darius Patrick, Kayden Courtney, and Kingston Courtney; sister, Edna Spiehler; and sister-in-law Phyllis Chasteen.
Myrtle was preceded in death by her parents Millard and Lessie Chasteen; sister, Florence Green; and brothers, Johnny, Marshal, and Woody Chasteen.
A funeral service will be held Wednesday, July 1, 2020 at 1:00 pm with no public visitation prior to the service. Burial to follow at Riverview Cemetery. Due to the Covid-19 Pandemic, face masks are required in the funeral home.
