













































































Nellie Louise Wheeler, 72, of Seymour, passed away on July 20, 2021, at Schneck Medical Center with her family by her side.
She was born in 1948 in Seymour, the daughter of the late Elmer and Faye Elizabeth Chadd.
She married Joe Wheeler and he preceded her in death. Nellie was a member of Seymour Christian Church. She loved to sew, complete crossword puzzles and spending time with her family. Nellie will always be remembered for the love she showed for her family and for raising three strong women.
Nellie is survived by her daughters, Kimberly Jo Vogel, Libby Wheeler (April Banister), and Melinda (Carlos) Ramirez; 14 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren; longtime companion, Jim England; brothers Fred (Rita) Chadd and Tom Chadd; sister, Kathy Wessel and many nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2021, from 3-6pm at Voss & Sons Funeral Service.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, July 26, 2021, at 11am with visitation one hour prior to service.
Burial will take place at Hayden Cemetery.
Memorials may be written to American Heart Association.
