Ms. Norma Ruth Trimpe, 80, of Seymour, passed away October 6, 2014, at Schneck Medical Center with her sons by her side.
Norma was born April 4, 1934 in Seymour the daughter of Charles N. and Agnes (Scheurich) Grein.
She was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, she was a homemaker and enjoyed dancing, her flower garden and being outside. Norma was a member of both the American Legion and Fraternal Order of Eagles Ladies Auxiliaries.
She is survived by her sons; Brian (Lisa) Trimpe and Greg (Anjanette) Trimpe, grandchildren; Heather (Jeremy) Kasting, Nickolaus “Nick” Trimpe and Matthew “Matt” Trimpe, sisters Mary Lou (Lewis) Galati and Doris (Paul) Jewett, and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, the father of her sons; Edgar “Bill” Trimpe, brother; Lynn F. Grein, and infant brother; Charles N. Grein Jr sisters; Helen Marble, Betty Boutte and Dorothy J. “Dot” Richards.
Funeral Services will be held at Voss Chapel, Friday October 10, 2014, at 10AM, with Deacon Mike East officiating.
Burial will take place at Riverview Cemetery with a Voss Dove release.
Friends and family my call at Voss Chapel on Thursday October 9, from 4PM to 8PM and Friday after 9AM until time of service, with Rosary Service to be held at 3:30PM.
Memorials may be written to Schneck Hospital Foundation for Diabetes and Stroke Education or St. Ambrose Catholic Church.
