Norman Edward Forister, 80, of Seymour, Indiana, passed away on January 27, 2022, at Schneck Medical Center. He was born on 1941, in Muncie, Indiana to the late Lewis and Nellie Forister. On August 24, 1979, he married the love of his life, Shirley Leonard Forister.

He was a member of the First Baptist Church, Pipers Auto Club, and Southern Indiana Street Rods. He painted signs in Seymour known as Mr. Norms Signs, lettered trucks, and race cars.

He is survived by his wife; Shirley Leonard Forister, his daughters; Terri Forister, Tammy (fiancé, George Simson) Forister, Rebecca Wells (Timothy) Upshaw, Norma Wells Bolyard, Paula Findley (Jeff) McDaniel, Chad (Kathy) Wells, and his sister; Nancy Forister (Jerry) Conrad; and his fifteen grandchildren, and his eight great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents; Lewis Forister, Nellie Rogers Forister, and his son; James Edward Forister.

Visitation will be held on February 11, 2022, at Voss and Sons Funeral Service from 12pm to 1pm. Graveside service will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
