I am so very sorry Becky. I just seen that he had passed. I enjoyed the time around him. He let me drive that red Firebird once. Loved it. Plus the pics from the hog roast way back. Good memories. Love, Little Danny

Becky , I'm so sorry for your loss of a Dad that was an Awesome friend and mentor of mine , I first met your father when I was at your house one day and he made an impression on me as a good and gentle friend to me , he cared about everything !! Coolest thing was Me and Him became friends and he loved life totally , I'll never forget the Hog Roast & Hay Ride that he came to the farm in Uniontown and we had a blast with the kids and even the adults , it's remembered to this day , I didn't know about his passing until this month or I would have been there for Him and You , Love Danny Abner Sr.

Sonny was one of my dearest friends. He treated my grandchildren like his own. Besides my own dad he taught me so much about furniture. We refinishing allot of furniture together. Most of all Sonny taught me allot about the Bible. We studied allot while refinishing. God was at work. I will miss my friend so much. Rest in Peace in God's loving arm's.

Sonny was like a 2nd Dad to me. He taught me so much about Antiques and about Life in general... A good soul. He was always, always good to me & my boys and considered a part of our family. He will truly be missed. I will always remember his big smile and laugh. Such a good hearted soul. I know he is dancing with Jesus and smiling from ear to ear. My heart is truly broken... we will meet again someday sweet friend.

Sonny was a very good man and will be missed. I first met Sonny when he was Fire Chief. He asked me to become a fireman and the first EMT in the fire dept. in the late 70;s as the Fire Dept had the ambulances back then. But unfortunately for us both my feeble back (even then) did not meet the needed standards. He always brought the Clerk-Treasurer's office candy for Christmas. my staff thought the world of him. RIP my friend.
