Patricia Baer 90, of Seymour, Indiana passed away on Wednesday October 12, 2022, at the Hoosier Christian Village in Brownstown. She was born in Columbus, Indiana on May 11, 1932, to the late Glen and Edith Hamblen.

She married Max Baer in 1993 and he preceded her in death in 2003. Patricia was a member of the American Legion Women’s Auxiliary. She was an assembly line worker at General Motors and owned her own antique business. She enjoyed gardening, traveling, going to the ocean, her friends, and dancing but most of all she enjoyed being with her family and was a very giving and generous person.

Patricia is survived by her daughters; Becky Vest, Maria (Steve Witcher) Marsh, and Annette (Brad) McDaniel, grandchildren; Josh (Meigan)Vest, Saul Vest, Stacey (Doug Bennett) Pack, Nicholas (Andy Blaker) Marsh, Christina (Jeff) Meyers, Brianna McDaniel, Natalie McDaniel, great grandchildren; Tenley Vest, Lincoln Vest, Scarlett Sczesny.

She is preceded by her parents and one son Douglas Mount.

In keeping with Patricia’s wishes cremation services are being provided by the caring staff at Voss and Sons Funeral Service and a private memorial service will be held at a later date.

The family would like to say thank you to the caring staff and friends at the Hoosier Christian Village and Schneck Hospice. Special thanks to nurse Jody who was always friendly and had an open heart. We will forever be thankful for the love you showed.
