Mrs. Patricia G. Woodruff Crane, 81 of Seymour, Indiana, passed away Saturday September 26, 2015, at The Covered Bridge Health Care Campus.

She was born on March 21, 1934, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the daughter of the late Russell and Margery (Sullivan) Woodruff.

Patricia married Charles D. Crane on May 3, 1952, in Seymour, Indiana, whom precedes her in death.

She was a member of Redeemer Lutheran Church and was the owner of Cranes Music House for over 20 years.

Patricia is survived by her children; Margie (Phil) Trimpe, Larry (Lisa) Crane, John Crane and Barry (Amber) Crane, 6 grandchildren; Brad (Kate) Trimpe, Matt Trimpe, Jessica (Brian) Powell, Mickayla Crane, Alyce Crane and Nevada Crane, 3 step-grandchildren; Matt, Jamie, Nick Birch, 2 great-grandsons; Cohen and Ty Powell, 3 sisters; Joan (Charles) Hines, Marilyn Norris and Carol (Kenny) Taskey, companion for 10 Â½ years Robert ” Grandpa Bob” Pogue.

She is preceded in death by her husband, parents, step-father Delbert Hoffmeier and brother Tommy Woodruff.

Funeral service will be at 11:00 am on Tuesday September 29, 2015, at Redeemer Lutheran Church, 504 N. Walnut St., with Pastor; Andrew Currao and Pastor Joseph Barlau officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may call from 3:00 am to 8:00 pm on Monday September 28, 2015 at Voss Chapel, 316 N. Chestnut St. and at the church from 9:00 am until time of service.

Memorial checks may be written to Redeemer Lutheran Church building fund, through the Voss and Sons Funeral Service.

Many,many memories,so sorry for the loss of your Mother ,sister and grandmother, many a Waymansville memory, she is with Charlie now, and at rest. Would be there if I could, Bob and Olga Morgan

John and Berry, Your Mom was a truly wonderful person and i still remember many words of wisdom she shared with me. I think of her each time i apply them. She will always live in the hearts of those she touched, and now you have an additional Angel to watch over you. Keeping you and your families in my thoughts and prayers.

I'll always remember how supportive Patty was when I first started to play an old guitar my father rescued from a garbage dump in Seymour for me one hot summer when I was young. He reattached the top of the guitar and Patty helped me outfit it with the right strings - several times throughout the years. Larry was also so kind to give me a couple of guitar lessons. I'm so very grateful for Patty, her generosity, and the way she instilled the values of what it means to be true to yourself, follow the music in your soul, and be kinder than you have to be to everyone. She still inspires me and I praise God in thanksgiving for her and her blessed and talented family. With you all in Spirit and the Love that can only heal our broken hearts so gently with the deep joy of knowing she is in the arms of our Lord and still with us always, as He is, through Spirit and Love.

Larry, John and family, Just found out today and very sorry for your loss, your Mom was a wonderful woman and I often thought of her. i would call her from time to time but lost touch in the past few years. Charlie

What a great person. She became like a mentor who really seemed to care about her music store customers. She remembered my name after I just came in the store one time and then went in the Navy for four years. Really amazing.
