Patrick J. Corcoran

October 25, 1957 - July 23, 2020

Mr. Patrick J. Corcoran, 62, of Seymour, passed away on Thursday, July 23, 2020 at The Hoosier Christian Village. Patrick was born in Rantoul, Illinois, on October 25, 1957 to parents Joseph V. and Jeanne (Hunsucker) Corcoran . On June 21, 1997, at Emanuel Lutheran Church, he married Marta Henderson Corcoran.
Patrick proudly served in the United States Airforce. He then worked as an electrical supply salesman. He was especially proud to be a member of the Seymour Noon Lions Club. Patrick enjoyed reading and he loved discussing politics.
Patrick leaves behind his loving wife, Marta; his children, Ryan (Becky) Corcoran, Nicholas (Amy Beth) Corcoran, and Katie Ceroli, and his step-children Stacie Schepman and Joshua Schepman eleven grandchildren; brother, Tim (Sandi) Corcoran; sisters, Maureen (Andrius) Gestautas; Shelia Corcoran, Rosemary (Kenny) Perry and Karen Corcoran.
He is preceded in death by his parents; and his sister Kathleen Corcoran.
A private family service will be held at Voss & Sons Funeral Service with Deacon Larry French officiating. A veterans flag and taps presentation will be made during the service. Due to the Covid 19 pandemic, face masks are required at all services.
Memorials honoring Patrick may be given to Seymour Noon Lions, in care of Voss & Sons Funeral Service.

Sad to hear of Pat's passing, your loss Marty and family. A friend to everyone, never met a stranger! Met Pat in 7th grade and he never changed, great smile and laugh! Had a lot of fun times and memories in those school years. Still years later when we would run into each other there was never enough time, to many things to share. Dear Corcoran Family, I am so sad to hear of Pat's passing. He and my brother Jim Davis, were good friends since high school and were like brothers.He was passionate about politics as was his father and our father. He will be missed by our Davis family. Garden Accent Stone - 'Wherever a beautiful soul...' was purchased for the family of Patrick J. Corcoran.

I met Pat many moons ago in Boy Scouts always a great guy. Four years ago or so he happened to be across the hall from my Mom in the nursing home. Pat was cheering me up what a wonderful attitude and out look on life. Rest in Peace my friend Rick Schleibaum
