Mr. Phillip E. Lacy, 78, of Seymour, passed away November 17, 2014, at Kindred Transitional Care in Columbus, IN.
Phillip was born March 16, 1936, in Indianapolis, IN to the late Howard and Lora (King) Lacy. On January 30, 1975, in Crothersville, IN, he married Jane K. Vandiver.
Mr. Lacy was a member of Central Christian Church, Seymour. He was a US Marine and was a Veteran of the Korean War. Phillip was employed as a truck driver. He was a member of the American Legion #89, and very involved with the Masonic Lodge #146. Phillip enjoyed woodworking, fishing, and loved spending time with his family.
Phillip will be missed by his wife; Jane, children; Debbie (Danny) Dooley, Phyllis (Kevin) Taylor, Beth (Stan), Mickie Amann and John Lacy, grand children; PJ, Josh, Lacy, Daniel, Kasey, Kyle, Shelby, Mandy, and John, five great grandchildren, brother; Mox (Dorothy) Lacy, and sisters; Teresa Collins and Joan Rineholt.
He was preceded in death by his parents, a son; Donnie Condiff, and brother; Bob Lacy.
Funeral service will be conducted at 12 Noon, November 19, 2014 at Voss Chapel with Pastor Kit Bogan officiating.
Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel from 10am until the time of service.
A Masonic service will be conducted at 10:30 am at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, November 19, 2014.
Graveside service will be at 2:30pm at Olive Cemetery, Paragon, IN, with full military graveside rites conducted by VFW Post 1257, American Legion Post 230, Honor Guard, all of Paragon, IN.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be written to the Masonic Scholarship Fund.
