Eric left a message on January 13, 2022:
Dear Marion, Ray, Teresa, and Jenny I have been blessed to have known Raymond for 38 years, when you all moved to Seymour from Brownstown and Ray started school with us at Saint Ambrose and became a good friend. How many times, Raymond would take Ray and some of us friends to go fishing!.... Those were some particularly fun times as we were growing up. The sign out front read: “Raymond and Marion+5” a second sign should have read: “The more the merrier” ….because your house was always a hub of priceless good times and an abundance of laughter! I used to always think you were all “lucky” to have a dad like Raymond…then after Raymond survived the sudden cardiac arrest; emerging triumphant from a close encounter with an early grave… then I knew you were all not just “lucky” but even more blessed to continue to keep him! Raymond, may the angels lead you into paradise; may the martyrs receive you at your arrival and lead you to the Holy City Jerusalem. May the choirs of angels receive you and with Lazarus, once a poor man, may you have eternal rest now and even forevermore! Amen. Raymond rest in peace and rise to glory! With my deepest sympathy to you all and prayers for you all and the repose of Raymond’s soul, Pax et bonum, Eric
