Rebecca “Becky” Hinnefeld

Mrs. Rebecca “Becky” Hinnefeld, 75, of Seymour, passed away June 28, 2014 at the Seymour Crossing.

Born November 14, 1938, in Seymour, IN, she was the daughter of John F. and Virginia (Niewedde) Cordell.

On June 17, 1956, she married Dale Hinnefeld who preceeded her in death October 24, 2001.

Becky was a devoted homemaker and a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church. She always stayed active, for 25 years was involved with the Hearts of Home Demonstration Club and volunteered for Ladies Aid II and Cub Scouts.

She is survived by her children: Jon Dale (Leigh) Hinnefeld, Russell O. (Christy) Hinnefeld; grandchildren: Stacey Lee Hinnefeld, Jon Dale Hinnefeld II, Russell Albert (Darlene) Hinnefeld, and Christopher Michael (Meloney) Hinnefeld; great granddaughter Stevie Faye, and several nieces and nephews.

Becky was preceded in death by her parents, husband and brother: William Steven Cordell

Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday 10:30 a.m., with Rev. Ralph Blomenberg officiating.

Burial will be at the Old Wegan Lutheran Cemetery, Brownstown.

Friends may call at Voss Chapel on Tuesday 5 to 8 p.m. and on Wednesday after 9:30 a.m. until time of service.

Memorials may be written Wegan Lutheran Cemetery or Church.
