I met Richard when I worked as summer help at Silgan Plastics. He was always professional and always spoke well to me.. Just an all around wonderful person. Years later I would see him out in public and he would still always speak to me. I am so saddened to hear of the loss of this very great man. Prayers for all his friends and family.

Worked with Richard at Silgan for a lot of years, he used to tell me stories about his time on the railroad after he realized that he had worked with my father on the B & O railroad as he always called it! He talked as much about his daughter as he did his Hoosiers! He will be missed
