Richard Lee Nance

July 4, 1928 - August 31, 2014

Mr. Richard Lee Nance, 86 of Crothersville, passed away August 31st, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana facility in Columbus. He was born on July 4, 1928 in Vallonia, In., the son of the late Leo and Lula Nance.
On September 12, 1953, he married JoAnn Stepro, who survives.
Richard was a life long resident of Jackson County and graduated from Vallonia High School in 1946. After graduation he joined the United States Air force and served our country in the Korean War. After the war, he started working at Arvin Industries where he retired in 1993.
In addition to his wife of 60 years JoAnn, he is survived by his children Richard L. (Tami) Nance, Jr., Rachelle Nance, grandchildren Tyler Edwards Terri Coats, Katie (Josh) Boswell, great grandchildren Matthew and Trayton Coats, Kenzi McClain and Makenna Boswell, sisters Martha (Robert) Wheeler and Connie Shelton.
Preceded in death by his parents and brothers Clyde and Robert Nance.
All arrangements are being provided by the caring staff of Voss funeral service and Tri- County Crematory both of Seymour.
The family request that memorial donations may be sent to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or any Hospice of Choice.
