Rick Bryan Clark, 60, of Seymour passed away on Tuesday, May 16, 2023, at his home after a brief illness. He was born on April 30, 1963, in Seymour, the son of Roger and Evelyn (Poole) Clark. On August 18, 1984, he married Lisa Wilson, and she survives.
In addition to his wife Lisa, Rick is survived by three children, Zach (Kourtney) Clark, Chastity (Zach) Brady, and Makenze (Reid) Wieneke all of Seymour; one grandchild, Wayland Clark; three brothers, Michael (Cheryl) Clark of Seymour, Mark (Sara) Clark of Brownstown, and Randy (Jenny) Clark of Madison. Rick is also survived by four lab grand dogs, Gunnar, Gus, Boone, and Willow. He was preceded in death by his parents.
Rick was a 1981 graduate of Seymour High School. He, the “Water Shark”, worked as a foreman at Indiana American Water Company until retiring this past year. When he wasn’t working, Rick could be found playing the guitar, playing golf, talking on the phone, or spending time with his family. If it was a Saturday morning, he could be found anywhere from Ace Hardware to fire stations or anywhere in between. He was a member of The Point.
A celebration of life for Rick will be held on Friday, May 19, 2023, at the Voss and Son’s Funeral Home in Seymour with Rick Wilson officiating. The family will greet friends and family on Friday from 4 p.m. until the time of services at 7 p.m. at the funeral home.

Sorry to hear Rick has passed. He was always so helpful and friendly helping out the United Way Day of Caring year after year when I worked on that committee. He ran all over the county for us helping to supply tools, food, water, t-shirts, etc. and never complained or had a harsh word. Rest well, friend.

I'm so sorry to read of Rick's passing. As one would say, he was a unique individual.
During my years as Clerk-Treasurer he worked for IAW. He would come into the office needing a permit, simply go over to our files, without assistancfrom anyone, get the required forms and fill them our. All th while joinging in on any conversation going on. If he was lucky, and we had treats, he would help himself. Totally a classic. I hope he rests in peace.
