Rita Pearl Amburgey Moore, 59 of Mitchell, Indiana, passed away Tuesday, May 3, 2016.

She was born June 30, 1956, in Hazard, Kentucky, the daughter of William and Julia Ann (Cook) Amburgey.

She was preceded in death by her father and one brother, William “Willy” Amburgey.

Funeral service will be at Voss Chapel on Saturday, May 7, 2016, at 1:00 p.m. with cremation to follow.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel after 11:00 a.m. until time of service.

Arrangements were made through Voss & Sons Funeral Service, Seymour, Indiana.

I met Rita and her mom almost 3 years ago. I worked driving a medicab and took Rita multiple times. Her and her momma always made me feel welcome in their home. I'm sure going to miss her. Wish I could come tomorrow Miss Judy,but I'm still recovering from a car accident myself. My condolences to you and your family.
