I am so sorry for your loss. I pray that 'the God of all comfort'(2 Corinthians 1:2-4) will give you peace of mind and hope for the future. In the ancient book of wisdom Jesus promised to raise from the dead those in the tombs. (John 5:28,29). Some of these will gain everlasting life. In Psalm 37:9-11 God promises to do away with all evil people and give the earth to the meek or humble people. In Revelation 21:1-4 He promises a whole new heavens and new earth where He will dwell with mankind and do away with death, pain, suffering and sorrow.
