Robert Mitchell “Bob” Buffo

Robert Mitchell “Bob” Buffo, 71 of Versailles, Indiana, passed away Saturday, December 10, 2016, at IU Health Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis, Indiana.

He was born April 27, 1945, in Indianapolis, Indiana, the son of Henry and Thelma (Patrum) Buffo.

He married Debra Pearson on December 5, 1970, at Central Christian Church in Seymour, and she preceded him May 24, 2008.

After graduating high school, Bob went on to obtain his Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University. He continued to be an avid Purdue football and basketball fan his entire life.

He is survived by his children, Christopher M. Buffo, Craig M. (Lisa) Buffo and Curt M. Buffo; grandchildren, Zerek Buffo, Skyler Buffo, Dascha Buffo, Dara Buffo and Dahkota (Akierra) Amburgey; nephews, T.R. (Brittani) Montgomery and Blake Everhart; and father-in-law and mother-in-law, Robert “Gene” and Irma Pearson.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and a nephew, Benjamin Everhart.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday, December 16, 2016, at Voss Chapel with Rev. Bill Everhart officiating. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.

Friends and family may gather at Voss Chapel on Friday after 11:00 am until time of service.
